Simple Route Combos

Whats up guys!!!!

WFColonel here and I want to bring something to your attention that you may have missed.

Some simple passing route combos that can keep the chains moving. The first picture shows a simple curl flat combo. I do not see this combo ran near enough guys. It is a very powerful tool

You read it by keying in on the flat defender (and in doing so you can see if it is man coverage). If zone defense throw away from the flat defender. If he goes to the curl, throw to the flat and if he goes to the flat you throw the curl.

Vs man coverage you will want to throw to the curl unless the flat is very open.

Now the second picture shows the drive route combo

Vs zone defense the 10 yard in route will push coverage back allowing the drag to be wide open. If they try to squeeze the drag than the in route may peek open. Vs Man coverage you have two routes that can get open vs man coverage.

So there you have it guys. Some simple route combos that can seriously help your passing game out, and keep the chains moving!!!

So get into practice mode in Madden 12 or Ncaa Football 12 and try these bad boys out and get comfortable using them. Hopefully you can work these route combos into your offensive scheme.

Offensive Play Calling

What I have here is a great video about offensive play calling. This stuff is actually what I have talked about for years in madden.

Every play there should be a goal of where you want to get to, not just "I want a first down every play".

Really pay attention guys. This is some stuff that could really help you move the chains better in Madden Football or NCAA Football

But some quick notes

-Know the score of the game
-Know field position
-Know the defense
