Stay In The Pocket Son!!!

Mobile Qbs have been all of the rage since Mike Vick came into the league. But very few players who I have run across throughout the years have used these special players correctly.  Players who use Mike Vick, T. Jackson ,Vince Young, DJ Shockley (old falcons back up for those who don’t know) have all played the same way. Snap the ball, sprint, and chuck….it never fails.


But what these guys don’t know (or maybe they do, who knows) is that people expect them to play like that. What some rare players throughout the years have done is play from the pocket 90% of the time with those players and scramble when necessary. That puts a defense in a real bind.

First and foremost the defense comes out in a defense that expects you to scramble and when you don’t you have wider lanes to pass the ball. And when they finally change the defense because they see that you arent scrambling and you still can carve them up with the pass than they are in some real trouble. You can move the ball at will already than BLAM!!!!!!!!

You open up a can of old Mike Vick 93 speed on them. Slashing and dashing through the defense a few times resets the defenses play calling to step one. And if they couldn’t stop your passing game when they were playing the pass they wont be able to when they are scared of the rush…

So take my advise. STAY IN THE PACKET SON!!!!!!
